About Keyi (Thea) 認識可衣(克怡)

Keyi (Thea) Chang is a popular television and radio personality in the North American Chinese Community. She was the host of the popular “Business & Lifestyle” talk show on KTSF-TV. Keyi is also a radio host on 92.3FM in San Francisco, the most popular Radio station in the Bay Area in the Chinese community.

Keyi has been active in television and media for over 10 years.  She first got her start in television as a VJ hosting several popular music programs in Seattle and Vancouver, in the late 90’s.  Over the years she’s had the distinct honor of interviewing some of the most  famous stars throughout Asia, including:  Michelle Yeoh, Zhou Hua Jian, Coco Lee, Zhang Guo Rong and many others.

Keyi graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Journalism. Her life long dedication to television has seen her travel the world and back in a variety of roles, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.

Over the past four years as host of KTSF’s “Business & Lifestyle”, she traveled throughout North America interviewing some of the most successful business people on the planet.  With her bright smile, vibrant personality and pleasant on-air interviewing style she has established a comfortable television format for her TV viewers and has been touted by many as a “shining star” of the Bay Area.

Starting July 2011,  Keyi is hosting her first radio show “Lunch Break” and “News for Chinese” on FM 92.3 in the Bay Area.  The program cover daily family, health and business issues for busy parents.  The show is a relaxing format for everyone who just wants to take a break. It also bridged the gap between the Mainstream and the Chinese community.   Keyi will use this channel to share her interesting thoughts and interact with listeners.

Keyi carefully balances her work with her personal life. As the mother of two very active young children, she embraces the role of “working mother” and tries to be a good example to her children by teaching them strong values through her own example, hard work and dedication. Keyi also remains a very active member in the community, supporting many causes that support special needs children and education. In 2012, Keyi formed a new production company, Hearts on Fire Production, and continues to play a major role in entertainment and media in the Bay Area and beyond.
